About the Miss Trans New England Pageant

The Miss Trans New England Pageant is a organization dedicated to helping trans women recognize their potential.
THE MISSION OF MISS TRANS NEW ENGLAND
The Miss Trans New England Pageant allows trans woman to compete for a title that honors their beauty and their talents-while recognizing them as both women and transgender. Contestants must be Male to Female Transgender/Transsexuals from New England and New York City. The Miss Trans New England Pageant also provides personal and professional opportunities for trans women and promotes their voice in culture, politics and the community. The Program empowers trans women to achieve their personal and professional goals, and provides a forum in which to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence.
WHO IS MISS TRANS NEW ENGLAND ?
The Miss Trans New England Pageant attracts some of the most intelligent, highly motivated and community-oriented trans women in New England. All trans women are eligible to compete. Miss Trans New England 2009 Lorelei Erisis works as receptionist for a Licensed Psychologist, Gender Therapist and Sleep Scientist office as well as travels all over New England and beyond giving speeches on LGBTQI issues. Miss Trans New England 2010 Toni Olin-Mignosa is a licensed cosmetologist and performer at Club 313 in NH
REACHING OUT TO NEW ENGLAND
The Miss Trans New England Pageant stands for attracting highly motivated trans women who are already leaders in their communities or inspire to. Miss Trans New England and members of the Court travel all over New England giving speeches and performing at events.
A TRADITION OF SERVING THE COMMUNITY
Contestants and members of the court embrace a platform of community service. The Miss Trans New England Pageant raise's support for Trans rights and other LGBQI issues. In addition, everyone involved in helping run the Program is a volunteer, and by participating, volunteers are giving back to their communities.
HELPING MASSACHUSETTS
The Miss Trans New England Pageant draws hundreds of people who spend money locally on hotels, restaurants, attractions and shopping. This past winter Miss Trans New England Pageant C.E.O. Christa Hilfers rang a bell for the Salvation Army to raise money to help needy family's buy gifts for there loved ones for Christmas.
FUNDRAISING
The Miss Trans New England Pageant directs it's, primary fundraising effort toward providing prize money, while other fundraising helps meet operational and production expenses as well as to other non profit organizations. Last year the Miss Trans New England Pageant donated over $1,000 to local non profit organizations. SPONSOR BENEFITS Sponsors identify with the Miss Trans New England Pageant and enjoy numerous benefits. Significant participation and prominently recognized, including on-stage, and ongoing publicity.
